There are too many spam comments on my wordpress blog. Using security plugins is not helping

The best way to stop WordPress spam comments is to use a plugin called "Cookies for Comments". Using Akismet or WordFence plugin is not going to help you stop spam comments. Most of the spam comments originate from comments bots which can post numerous comments in a short time.

Cookies for Comments plugin stops comments that originate from comments bot that are responsible for almost 99% of wordpress spam comments.
