Google Chrome autocorecct URL typo
When you search a website on Chrome’s address bar, sometime you may enter an incorrect URL. Google has introduced a new feature to solve this problem. Chrome browser can now detect typographical errors in URLs and suggest the correct website.
Chrome users can expect an improved browsing experience, particularly when attempting to revisit websites they have previously accessed. Previously, typing in the wrong characters or misspelling a website’s address could lead to frustrations, as users would have to manually correct the errors or do a separate search.
This feature is particularly beneficial for individuals with dyslexia, as dyslexic readers often face challenges in accurately writing and typing.
The feature is also useful for language learners who may not be fully familiar with the spelling of certain websites. Instead of struggling to remember or accurately type the URL, Chrome’s intelligent suggestion system offers a helpful alternative by automatically correcting potential errors.
This feature is currently available on Chrome desktop and will roll out on mobile in a few months.
