
cPanel has announced that it will no longer support CentOS 8 operating system in cPanel & WHM version 102+
Cpanel CentOS 8 End-of-Life
In December 2020, Cpanel announced that following an update by CentOS Project that they will not be proving system updates for CentOS 8 past December 31, 2021, CentOS 8 users will be required to transition to supported third-party OS. cPanel made a commitment to support the transition to RHEL fork by CloudLinux (AlmaLinux OS 8).

More updates in cPanel 102
- You must upgrade to CloudLinux version 6.6 or late if your server runs on CloudLinux 6.5
- Added SQL Edit features. You can edit your MySQL® or MariaDB from WHM > Home > SQL Services > SQL
- WordPress Toolkit will now be included in all cPanel & WHM version 102+ installs
- You can enable or disable NGINX caching if the features is enabled by the administrator from WHM > Home > Packages > Feature Manager
