Google Ad Manager has announced that it will be rolling out optimized pricing to improve publishers’ Ads earnings. This will be available as an optional feature.
Google Ad Manager Optimized Pricing
Optimized Pricing is a Google Ad Manager technology that uses machine learning to increase auction floor prices thus preventing advertisers from bidding less than the value of a publisher’s worth.
Google says that the feature will increase the prices of publishers’ paid inventory without negatively affecting their overall earnings.
Optimized pricing technology has been designed to not set floor prices lower than what the publisher has set. This means that if the floor price has to change, then it has to increase.
The optimized Pricing feature will initially be available by default from June 5, 2022, to some traffic. If you do not want the feature, you have the option to disable or reenable it under Admin>Global Settings>Ad Servings Settings>Optimized Traffic.
