Nginx support for HTTP/3 has been one of the highly anticipated additions by the Nginx community. On May 23, 2023, nginx announced that HTTP/3 has finally been included in mainline Nginx
HTTP/3 is a new protocol that aims to enhance the performance and security of web communications. With Nginx now supporting HTTP/3, website administrators and developers have the opportunity to leverage this protocol to improve user experience.
Given the experimental nature of the HTTP/3 support, it is recommended to initially test compatibility in a controlled environment. This will ensure that any potential issues or compatibility concerns are fixed before going live
To try out HTTP/3 support in nginx 1.25.0, add the mainline repositories to your instances.
